Happy Halloween

We woke up this morning with this view.......

Happy Halloween from downtown STL!!!!
We have had a busy day. We went home and my parents left to drive back to Arkansas. Then we were at church to help the youth group with their annual spaghetti dinner today from 11-1. Then all 4 of us took much needed naps before getting ready for some trick or treating in our neighborhood! Rae and Neen came over to have dinner and hand out candy at our house while we took the kids around the neighborhood. We were lucky to get into bed pretty early, as both kids were tired and ready for some good sleep....so were mom & dad!!

BatBen (who was wearing 3 layers of Henry's clothes and a batman mask) and Leonardo (the same teenage muntant ninja turtle that he was last year)

Leonardo!

BatBen!

Zee-Zee and NoNo are there, I promise!!

Ready for some candy!

Ben threw a few fits along the way...he would just lay down in the grass!

BatBen wasn't too happy for some reason!

About time to go home!

Dio & Renee's Wedding

Dio and Renee's wedding was yesterday afternoon...and it was beautiful! They both looked awesome and everything went off without a hitch! The reception was lots of fun and since my parents were in town with out kids (they took them to our church's trunk or treat) we stayed downtown at the Ballpark Hilton. Thanks mom & dad for watching the kids!

I took lots of pictures, but won't share them all.....we had a great time! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Diomis!!

GoGo's

Ben loves motorcycles.....I would venture to say he is slightly obsessed with them. He calls them GoGo's. Gregg's buddy Jeff came by Saturday morning to show the kids one of his motorcycles. Too bad G had already left for the wedding! Anyway, Henry wanted to sit on the motorcycle and get his picture taken. Ben was cranky and wanted to finish his lunch instead! Maybe Jeff will come back (when Gregg is home) and Ben will at least sit on it! Thanks Jeff for stopping by!

Boo at the Zoo

This morning, we went to Boo at the Zoo. Gregg had to get ready for the wedding later today, so it was just the kids and my parents. The kids had a ball! They got to dress up (Ben didn't wear his batman mask, but did wear his Halloween shirt) and trick or treat at the zoo. It was a beautiful morning...we started out in jackets and by the time we left, we had to take them off! What a great morning to spend at the zoo.

Henry with the dragon and knight

Nana, Papa, Ben, and Henry...Ben was not into having his picture taken!

But Ben sure loved the M&M's!

My teenage muntant ninja turtle!

Notice Ben still doesn't want to be in pictures!!

Checking out the ducks in the pond.

An attempt at a picture with my little guys....one cooperated and the other refused!

Dio & Renee's Rehearsal Dinner

Friday night was Dio & Renee's rehearsal dinner. Since Gregg is an usher in the wedding today, we went to the rehearsal and dinner last night. We had fun and there was of course, yummy food at Mike Shannon's Steakhouse. We are looking forward to hanging out with our friends tonight!

Farm + Creek = FUN

What a FUN Sunday for the Mohrmann boys! We traveled to Louisiana, MO after church today for a great afternoon of playing on a tire swing, seeing animals like horses, sheep, and chickens, riding on a trailer behind a four wheeler, playing in a creek, throwing rocks, starting a fire and putting corn into it, looking for rocks with holes in them, finding interesting bugs and insects, climbing up a mud "mountain," and having brats with mac and cheese...what more could a boy ask for? Thanks to Gregg's friend David for inviting us to the farm! We sure had FUN!

TIRED Ben on the ride back!!
