Family Walk
Yesterday it was almost 50 degrees! So we decided to try out the stroller and go on a walk. Jack liked it, at least we think he did since he slept the whole time.

Visitors
We've had several visitors today and Jack has loved every minute of it! He's been very good and enjoyed all the snuggles he got to enjoy. Many thanks to those friends who stopped by to meet Jack.

The Collins Family was in town for a family event and came by to meet Jack and have a quick visit. We are glad they got to visit us, as we are not sure when we'll be back in KC to see them.

Snow Days
Henry and Benton have had 2 snow days! Starting around 10:00 yesterday morning, it started to snow. We have about 5 inches on the ground. Both big boys have been very good the past 2 days! I will admit it was a little crazy having them both home along with a newborn baby. But we survived and enjoyed having G come home everyday for lunch. Henry and Benton both love their little brother to pieces... for now anyway!

Jack had his first bath Thursday evening. He didn't like it too much but he sure smells sweet now.

Jack is such a sweet, laid back little guy. We are certainly blessed to have this little guy in our family.

1 Week Old
Jack Thomas is 1 week old TODAY!! It is so hard to believe our little man is already a week old. Yesterday he went to the doctor for his weight check and he was all the way up to 8lbs. 2oz. He was born weighing 8lbs. 5 oz. and when we left the hosptial he was 7lbs. 15oz. So Dr. Z was very happy with what he had gained and said to come back on the 27th. Until then, we can let him go up to 4 hours between feedings, but no more that that. He checked out all healthy!
Today Nana and Papa left to head back home. We were so glad to have them here to help out! We are very lucky they aren't too far away and that we have Zee-Zee here in town. All 3 boys love their grandparents very much!

Henry's Class
Tonight Henry's first grade class had a family pot luck. After the dinner, the first graders did a readers theater performance. Henry had a pretty big reading part and he did an EXCELLENT job of reading! Since Nana and Papa aren't leaving until tomorrow, they were able to join us for the evening along with Zee-Zee. Jack was great, he just slept!
