Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!  Our Easter started off with us thinking Benton was all better, no fever and no throwing up.

All smiles and about to follow the candy trail to their baskets.

Thanks E. Bunny!

 New PJ's and shades!

What a practical bunny we have!

Henry and Jack all ready for church.  No Benton in this picture because our poor Benny was throwing up. :(  Gregg and Benton stayed home.

Henry hunting eggs in the backyard.  Poor Benny is on the couch.

We saved half the eggs for him to hunt when he feels better.  I called the exchange and taked to a nurse about ways to get him to keep things down since everything, even water, is coming back up.  We are calling Dr. Z in the morning.

Friends & Eggs

After the mega egg hunt, Jack, Henry, and I met our friends the Oldani's and the Kimbrell's for lunch.  The Kimbrell's live in KC and were in town visiting family for the weekend.  We are SO glad we were able to meet up with them, but sad that G and Ben had to miss out!

When we got home, Ben was feeling a little better and Zee-Zee and NoNo came over to color eggs and decorate the bunny cake.  This year G made the bunny cake AND he was the master icer!  Check out the finished product below.

Henry and Benton are famous!  (kind of)  They made the Ferguson Times paper for being at the opening of the new Ferguson Fire Station.

Mega Egg hunt

This morning Benton was still feeling sick and even though he didn't throw up, he still had a fever.  In an attempt to keep Henry and Jack from getting sick, I took the 2 of them out to Chesterfield for an egg hunt... a MEGA egg hunt!  We met our friend's the Herrera's there and even though it was chilly, Henry had a great time.  Jack just slept.

Henry picked out a wearable alien balloon creation to take home for his sick brother.

Henry and Manuel in a heated game of basketball!

Good Friday

Last night/early this morning, Benton woke us up and said his tummy hurt and he needed to throw up.  Well this morning, he was all smiles, no fever, and seemed to feel better.  We hung around the house and went to church at 12:15 for the Good Friday Service.  Gregg met us over his lunch break and Ben fell asleep on Gregg's lap.  When he woke up, he was burning up!  So much for feeling better. I was going to take the kids to the zoo this afternoon, but instead we came home and Ben slept on the couch all afternoon, which is NOT like him.  I strapped on the infant carrier thingy, put Jack in it, and played basketball with Henry.  I didn't want Jack to get whatever Ben has, so we spent the afternoon outside.  It was a georgous day!  We are hoping Ben feels better in the morning, as we have plans to go to an egg hunt then lunch with friends.

6 Weeks

On Wednesday, Jack turned 6 weeks old.  We can't believe our little guy is already 6 weeks old!  I had my 6 week check up today and everything is great.  I am able to starting running and exercising again.  I went on my first Post-Jack run today and boy did it feel great!  I ran round the neighborhood and pushed Jack.  I am sure I didn't look too much like a runner today, more of a slow jog, but I ran pretty much the whole time, only stopping 3 times.  I can only improve from here.  Below are a few of my favorite Jack pictures from the last few days.

Third Snow Day

The kids could have totally had school today!  The roads are clear and just wet!  But, just about every school (both public and private) are off today.  We ventured back over to the Sprandt house to play again today. Gregg went to work and I thought I might go crazy with all 3 kids, considering I had them all last week for spring break.  Henry and Ben loved playing outside and Jack got to snuggle with his ladies!  Tonight it was swim lessons, a good ending to another snow day.

Snow

This morning while we were in church, it started to snow... LOTS of snow!!  We currently have around 7 or 8 inches (I think) and it's still coming down!  The kids are amped because there is no school tomorrow.  This makes 3 snow days.  This afternoon G, Henry, and Ben all went sledding over on UMSL's campus.  Jack and I watched from the warm Jeep.  Well, Jack slept I should say.  We came home and attempted naps before going to the Sprandt's house for dinner and more playing in the snow.  Nana and Papa made it safely back to AR, so it was a great day!

Henry is ready for some sledding!

This picture of Ben cracks me up!
