More Celebrating

Tonight we went to Zee-Zee's house to celebrate G's birthday with Zee-Zee and NoNo.  The kids helped make a cake last night at their sleepover.  We had a delicious dinner and cake to celebrate G's last birthday before turning the big 4-0 next year!!

Today is G's 39th Birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

We have had a WONDERFUL day!  We were up early (as usual) and headed to Denny's for breakfast.  G got a free meal!  We then went to the zoo for a few hours so the kids could show G their favorite animals and places.  We came home for lunch.  G's childhood friend Rodney was in town and stopped by with his family for a quick visit on their way back to Texas.  After rest time this afternoon, the kids are going to Zee-Zee's for a sleepover.  G and I are going to dinner and then see the movie The Bourne Legacy.

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for Henry and Ben.  Henry started 1st grade and Ben started 4 year old preschool.  They are both going to Immanuel Lutheran School again this year.  Both of them had AWESOME first days of school!!

Saturday Fun

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day!  So we loaded up the bikes, packed a picnic lunch, and headed to Forest Park to ride around the park!  It's about 6 miles if you go all the way around and I am VERY proud of my 2 little bikers!  They went just about 4.5 miles (maybe almost 5!)  We had a GREAT time and had our picnic lunch along the way.  We made several water stops and everyone had a great time!  This afternoon, Gregg and the kids had a game of kickball in the street.

13.5 Weeks

So here is Baby #3!!  I am 13.5 weeks along and just starting to get that little bump.  There really is a baby in there!!  We are excited!  (Don't look at the unmade bed or the over flowing hamper of dirty clothes!!)

The Zoo

Today was my last official day of summer break!  I told the kids we would do whatever they wanted and they wanted to go to the zoo... so that is where we headed first thing this morning!  They had a great time and we couldn't have asked for a better day!

Magic House

This summer we went to the Magic House several times, but the kids wanted to go one more time before school started and they wanted to be sure and take their Dad!  So on Saturday we arrived at the Magic House right when it opened and had a great time!
