Happy Birthday Beth!

Today is our friend Beth's birthday! Last night we had the Greatens over for dinner to celebrate Beth's birthday. We met Zach & Beth at our church and Henry and Ben LOVE to hang out with "Yak & Bess" (Gregg and I do also!) So this is what happens when I let my 5 and almost 3 year old decorate a birthday cake with sprinkles.....
The sprinkles were PILED on there!!

Swim Lessons

Monday is swim lesson day for Henry & Ben. Henry has been taking lessons for quite a while and this is Ben's first time to take them without a parent in the water. The first night of lessons for Ben was not so great....but now he LOVES it! It might have helped that we got new swim trunks and a swim shirt. Henry is such a little fish already! It's so neat to see him actually, really, SWIM!

Dinner at the Kohring's

Last night braved the random snow we had in St. Louis and went to our friends house for dinner. We feel like we never get to hang out with the Kohring's unless it's one of our kids birthday parties! So it was nice to have dinner with them and let the kids play. They have a 6 year old girl, Taylor and 3 year old boy, Jacob. After dinner and some playing, they watched a movie and I was able to get these cute pictures.

CARS 2

This morning we went to the Museum of Transportation to see the cars from the movie CARS 2. Henry and Ben are big fans of the first CARS movie. We have told Henry (who has yet to be to a real movie theater) that when CARS 2 comes out in June, we'll go to the movies to see it. He can hardly wait! So this morning was a big hit, even though it was freezing! They got to be secret agents and even got secret agent bags with their names on them.

My Boys

Last night at their sleepover with Zee-Zee, Henry and Ben painted their statues they got for Christmas. Henry isn't finished yet, as he wants to make sure he takes his time and makes it look "just like the real Woody and Buzz."

These 2 boys are getting so big and growing up so fast I can hardly believe it! They bring us so much joy (and sometimes headaches) but we wouldn't change anything for the world!

Pretty Day

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day! The first day of spring is tomorrow and we are VERY ready for it! We have had a crazy winter and are ready to spend most of our time out and enjoying the nice weather. Today the kids got to run around, ride bikes, and use chalk on the sidewalk. They are having a sleepover with Zee-Zee tonight and that means Gregg and I get a date night!

Ben LOVED drawing with the sidewalk chalk. He is really getting to be such a BIG boy and I cannot believe that in less than 2 months he will be 3 years old.

St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the O'Mohrmann family! Below are pictures from Saturday March 12 when we went downtown for the 5 mile run and then parade. The kids had SO much fun! And the Carrigan family joined us for the tailgating and then parade. Henry and Ben LOVED dressing up in green and I have to admit, they looked pretty darn cute!

Blurry, but Ben is all ready to head downtown!
