Yesterday, Sunday, Henry got to go to his first Rams football game. G and Henry took the train downtown and met my brother Will and his wife Erin. Will's company got tickets for the game, so they came in town. They had an extra one for me & Ben, but Ben was in need of a nap, so we stayed at home while Henry and G enjoyed the fun. Henry loved it, especially eating cotton candy and cracker jacks! Oh and a hot dog too. I think it's safe to say that as long as there is food, Henry will have a good time.

Beck Celebration
On Saturday the 26th, G and I went to St. Charles to celebrate with the Beck Family. Jessica and I went to Drury together and she graduated from law school in May. She recently found out she passed the BAR too! Her dad also turned 60 in August, so the Beck's had LOTS to celebrate. I got to see some of my pledge class along with other friends from back at Drury. It was a fun night!

Turbo is 6
Yesterday was our sweet Turbo Dog's 6th birthday. Poor thing didn't get anything special, just come extra loving from all of us. G and I adopted Turbo in January of 2004. We were told she was born sometime in the fall of 2003, so we decided that her birthday would be September 24! Her first birthday she got a hot dog, but since that first celebration, she just gets some extra love and a few treats for her day. We sure love her and are happy that Henry & Ben love her too! So to our Turbo, Happy Birthday!

Camping Trip
Hi Everybody! It's Henry & Ben. We had a VERY exciting Friday! Our Mom & Dad took us camping for the first time! Oh man did we have FUN. Turbo came along too. We didn't go very far, just about an hour from here in Troy, MO. We took the "silverbullet" that belongs to Daddy's friend Jeff. It was so cool! We got to have s'mores and hang out at the campfire. We all slept in the camper which was very cozy with 4 people and a dog! Mommy and Daddy didn't sleep very good because Ben was coughing and Turbo was moving around a lot, but they said it wasn't THAT bad. Today we left around 10 am. We think Daddy wanted to stay around & hike, but Mommy told him we wouldn't have hiked very far since Ben is still little. We can't wait to go again, hopefully sometime soon. Of course, our Mommy took lots of pictures to fully document our trip! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Ready to eat! Are we there yet?
Helping with the campfire.
We love each other!
All changed into longsleeves and jeans so the bugs won't eat us up!

Richmond Family Fun
After my half marathon last Sunday, we went to the Richmond's house for dinner and to celebrate Cooper's second birthday. As always, the kids enjoyed playing and riding in the John Deere truck. I was able to get some cute pictures, including Marty taking Jordan & Henry for a ride!
Tour of Missouri
Labor Day, Monday September 7, we ventured downtown to see the Tour of Missouri in the streets of St. Louis. These elite riders did multiple laps of the course, so we were able to see them twice. Henry & Ben both enjoyed seeing the riders. We didn't stay too long, but enjoyed the fun atmosphere dispite Henry being a bit of a crab that afternoon!

Half Marathon
Today I finished a half marathon! WOOHOOO!! I ran the Atlanta Half Marathon in 2004 and ran it in 2 hours 5 minutes. My goal today was 1:45. I didn't make that goal (ran it in 2:02), but my hip started hurting around mile 5. I didn't have any aches or pains in my training so this hip pain is a mystery. I rallied around mile 8 when I saw my 3 sweet boys and mother-in-law cheering me on. But it wasn't enough to get me to the finish in time. I am proud of myself and now I have to run another half marathon so that I can make it in 1 hour 45 minutes!
Signs made for me by John Schneller....thanks John!
Henry & Ben the night before the race. Henry & his Daddy started putting up the signs in the middle of the week. A few each day at different places around the house. Very good way to get me motivated and excited for my race!
Don't look at the shirtless guy....check out me on the right. I was too fast for Rae who was taking the picture! (just kidding about running too fast!)

Arkansas
This weekend we went to Arkansas to see my family. We had a lot of fun fishing, hanging out with my brother & his wife, and getting to see our friends The Mills. We also celebrated the birthdays of G and my brother Will. We came back yesterday (Sunday) so that we could have today to get projects done around the house and also to have a day to relax before heading back to work tomorrow. Below is our trip in pictures...enjoy!
Me and Ben
Henry & Ben on Bobby's machines (Erin's parents have such fun things at their house! Our boys LOVE to visit them!)

Ben eating cheeseballs. Both of my kids LOVED these things!
Our attempt at a family picture. At least we know that G can look at the camera!
