Today

Today (our 5th anniversary) started at 12:05 am for us. Ben was up and VERY fussy. We tried the whole pacifier to soothe him thing and get him back to sleep on his own. He was so mad and hungry, so we gave him a bottle around 12:30. He was up again at around 3:15....we did the "cry it out" thing for an hour. At 4:20, after one of us going in every 10 minutes to try to get him settled without picking him up, another bottle was given. Then at 6:00 Henry is up for the day, followed shortly by Mr. I-am-not-going-go-sleep-through-the-night-without-many-bottles-Ben. SO, we have had a FUN day to say the least! (BIG SMILE HERE!)
We left the house around 7:40 am for my 8:30 start to a 4 mile run, followed by Henry's first race! He did a 100 yard dash after my race. He did GREAT! I had to lie and say he was 3 because you had to be 3 to enter. He is almost 3 and was bigger than some of the kids there anyway, so no one even questioned it. Henry got his own number, t-shirt, and medal when he finished! After that, we (me, G, Henry, Ben, and G's mom) went to Forest Park for a boat ride. Henry LOVED it, even with a tantrum half way through the hour long ride. Both Henry & Ben are at Zee-Zee's house. Henry will stay the night and we'll pick Ben up later tonight after our anniversary dinner! With Ben waking up lots and us trying to get him to not have any middle of the night feedings, we thought it would be best for him to be at home and maybe tonight will be better. So here are some pictures from our day, so far!

This is BEFORE Henry's race...he was enjoying a bagel with jelly!
