The Mohrmann Family: Henry is SIX!

Yes, you read that correctly, my little baby boy turned 6 years old today! I still am not sure how that happened. I feel like we just had his first birthday party. Wow, time sure does fly! So Henry had a very fun day today. At bedtime he gave me a big hug and said it was the best birthday ever. We had lots of fun celebrating our little man. He woke up at 5:30 am and crawled into bed with us. At 7am we let him open one present:

This was from Bean and Dee (G's uncle and aunt who live in Chicago). He was so excited because he got several action figures, or "guys" as he calls them.

We then had breakfast, cinnamon rolls (requested by Henry) and thanks to Bean and Dee, Ben got an early birthday present! (It is hard when you are 3 and a half and your brother has a birthday and yours is still 5 months and 13 days away!)

8:00 am... another birthday present. This time, the Kung Fu Panda 2 movie. We left the house around 9, since I ran in a 5K race this morning. G and the kids came to cheer me on. It was a great morning, just a little bit windy!

After lunch, we let Henry open the rest of his presents. I think the above shirt was his favorite from us, an Angry Birds shirt. Good thing I made these:

Angry Bird cupcakes for tonight's family birthday celebration with Zee-Zee and NoNo and also for his friend birthday party tomorrow. (Henry is having the other boys from his kindergarten class over for pizza, games, and to watch Kung Fu Panda.)

Playing outside while I got the house cleaned and dinner ready inside. Love this picture of my boys! Zee-Zee and NoNo came over this evening for Henry's birthday dinner (Chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, broccoli, and corn. Oh and angry bird cupcakes and ice cream for dessert.)
