St. Patrick's Run & Parade

Yesterday we had a FUN FUN FUN day! It was a little chilly and very cloudy here, but we made the best of the weather and still ventured downtown for the 5 mile St. Patricks Run followed by the parade. Our friends, the Collins family, came in town from KC to hang out with us. Their little guy, Sawyer (turned 1 in January), had so much fun with Henry and Ben. Henry told me today at naptime that he was sad because Sawyer had to go home. He asked if Sawyer could come and live with us.

Both G and I ran in the race, so Sam and Stephanie graciously watched all 3 kiddos during the run. We met up afterwards and had a tail-gate lunch before we watched most of the parade. By noon the temperature had dropped about 10 degrees and as the parade was winding down, we headed to the car. Sawyer slept through the whole parade. This was Ben's first parade to be awake at, so next year Sawyer should enjoy it!
