I am playing catch up....I got behind in updating the blog. I decided to enjoy my last couple of weeks with my kids before I returned to work and let certain things go, updating the blog being one of those things. So here is a quick catch-up:
The first week of August, our sitter Peggy was out of town. We got to have Ben's best buddy Dylan come and play since Peggy was off. One day, the kids played in the pool before it got too hot! We have had a HOT few weeks here...over 100 many days and the heat index up to 115! I am ready for a cool-down since I am back at school without central air!

Having an after dinner treat....we probably had spaghetti for dinner, since they are shirtless! I make them eat without shirts when we have spaghetti....they get WAY too messy!
I went back to work on Wed. August 11, so on that Monday the 9th, Henry and I had a date day. Ben had lots of attention over the summer with his surgery, so he went to the sitter and Henry and Mommy played all day! And had McDonald's for lunch. We went to the Museum of Transportation, even though it was very hot, we had fun.
He looks SO big! I can't believe this time next year he will be in kindergarten.
