WOW!

Parenting is NOT easy...it's hard and tiring and stressful! I have realized that I need more patience than I ever imagined to be mom to my 2 1/2 year old son. I knew being a parent would be hard, I knew it would be tough and trying, but I never imagined this! I think that working full time also adds to the stress of parenting. It's hard to work all day (espeically teaching 2nd graders!) and come home to your own kids, husband, dog, house, dinner, etc! That being said, I LOVE MY LIFE! I really do and I would not change a single thing about it. I love my kids and even though I get stressed and Henry & his tantrums and fits drive me bonkers, I know one day, when he is grown up with a family of his own, I will long for the days of him being 2 and wanting to give me hugs and kisses and sit on my lap while I read the same book 5 times. Below are some pictures of what we have been up to the last few weeks.

My new favorite picture of Henry & Ben...the other night before bed. They were laying next to each other and Henry wanted me to take a picture...love it!

Ben, the drooler and hand chewer...are there teeth coming in?!?! Henry got his first one at 5 months, so we'll see!

Henry & Daddy running at Forest Park. On Oct. 4, Henry is running in a 100 yard dash, so he has been practicing! I am running in a 4 mile race that takes place before his race.
