My poor little Ben has an ear infection...in BOTH ears! Since around March 16 Ben has had a runny nose and cough. I figured it was the time of year and the crazy weather we have been having in St. Louis. He was never really getting better and even more crabbier as the days progressed. On Monday the 23rd our sitter said he pulled on his ears a few times and his nose ran non-stop all day. I made an appointment with the pediatrician and we went in Tuesday afternoon. Well, he has a double ear infection...poor kid! At least we know why he has had crabby pants on and not felt like himself. He is on amoxicillian for 10 days and we think he is feeling better. This was Ben's first visit to the doctor that was not a well-baby visit! Woohooooo! It took a while at Wal-greens to get the RX since he has never had a perscription before and we had to do the whole insurance thing. I won't complain, as he is over 10 months old and this is his first time he has had any medicine besides tylenol.
The other night Ben ate more hamburger helper than Henry or G!! He just loves regular food and will pretty much eat what we eat, as long as it's not spicy. Last night he had 3 chicken nuggets....so did Henry! Now Henry also ate carrots and some fruit, but Ben also had some melon and a bottle. My kids are quite the eaters. I joke that I work so that we can have food on our table, but it's true! All 3 of my boys are eaters. G told me the next time we have cresent rolls (8 in a can) that I need to make 2 cans since he can eat a whole can by himself and Henry eats 3-4 of them, Ben has 2-3 and I am LUCKY to get one! Anyway, just wanted to share about my poor little Ben and his ear infections.
