Trip to Rogers

Last Wednesday through Saturday the kids and I were in Arkansas visiting my family. We arrived at dinner time on Wednesday. It was a good trip down, as both kids slept for the first 2 hours of the trek which was nice. We only had to stop once for a potty break and so Ben could have a bottle.

On Thursday we had lunch at my mom's school (which is the same school that I taught at my first year of teaching), where Henry & Ben were like celebraties! Thursday night Uncle Will & Aunt Erin came over for dinner, but Ben was already in bed! He goes to bed by 7pm!

Friday we had a play date with the Harris & Mills kids. Henry enjoyed playing with Grant, Taylor, & Adelaide. Ben got to take Mabel's toys and smile lots at his Arkansas girlfriend. I got to visit with Rachel & Susan, which was wonderful! Uncle Will came over for dinner on Friday and we also got to roast marshmellows & make S'mores.

Saturday on our way out of town, we stopped at the Bella Vista Fire Department to see the fire engines, thanks to my friend from high school, Bo. Henry enjoyed the fire engines and really liked the fire helmet that Bo gave to him.

We had a great trip and enjoyed seeing my parents, grandma, brother, and sister-in-law. It was nice to get away and enjoy some time with my 2 favorite little men! I did forget some of the kids clothes in my parents dryer along with my cell phone charger. I am usually not so forgetful, but at least I remembered my kids! heeheehe. Enjoy the pictures!
