Good Friday

Today starts my "Spring Weekend" as my school district calls it. We get today and the Monday after Easter off. It's nice to have the day off and I had a fun morning since Rae watched Henry & Ben for me. I got to go for a run (in the rain) with my friend Shelly since we are both training for the River to River Relay next Saturday. I went to pick up the kids around noon and by the time we got home, Ben had fallen asleep. Henry seemed ready for a nap, so I read him some books and fell asleep with him. It's so nice to have both of them sleeping at the same time! As much as I wanted to have a longer nap, I knew I could get lots accomplished while they were both sleeping.

We have a fun, busy weekend ahead of us. Tomorrow a neighborhood egg hunt and coloring eggs. Then Sunday after church, we have a brunch and at some point our family egg hunt! Easter is my favorite holiday, as I love knowing spring is coming and with spring means it's almost summer. I enjoy the summertime, as it means more time with my 2 favorite little guys. I will post pictures of our weekend as it unfolds.

Thanks for checking in on our little ones....oh and Ben has another tooth...that makes 7! And his hair is getting longer, more "mullet" like in the back and when it dries, it curls. He stands on his own now which makes me sad that my baby is getting closer to being one. May 13 will come very quickly.
