Boys Will Be Boys

There are lots of boys in my house...some days I feel as if I have more than 2 kids. From the amount of food that gets consumed on a daily basis to how fast the basement can go from clean to looking like a tornado went through. I wouldn't change my 2 little guys for anything, but man do they eat A LOT! And they can trash the basement in about 2 minutes. But I love them lots!

We had a beautiful day here yesterday and we tried to spend most of it outside soaking up the sunshine. We started out with everyone (Turbo included) going to Forest Park and running the 6 miles around the perimeter. I ran with Ben and G took Henry and Turbo. Neither one of the jogging strollers that we have are very good and we both wonder how much easier it would be if we had a "good" one! After naptime we played outside and "helped" G rake leaves. Ben likes to jump into the piles and spread the leaves around so he wasn't much of a help. But we enjoyed a pretty day since they are calling for rain and cooler, more fall-like weather this next week. We have enjoyed our low-key weekend at home!

Time for water after our run...and Henry got to get out and play with his cars.

Look who fell asleep about halfway through the run.

He got in a nice little nap!

Silly boys after dinner...time for a bath!

Ben's favorite bath toy, the turtle.

This would have been a GREAT picture if Ben had his eyes open!
