Thanksgiving

I have many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. I am thankful for being healthy, having a loving family, being employed, having a roof over my head....the list goes on. I am also thankful for some very important people in my life. I am very thankful I have friends both near and far. I am thankful for e-mails, cell phones, and digital cameras so that I can communicate with my loved ones. I am thankful for all of my family members, including aunts, uncles, cousins, cousins' children. I am especially thankful for these people...they are in no particular order, since not everyone could be first!

I am thankful for my Turbo. She is technically not a person, but she is part of my family. I am thankful we adopted her and that she loves us. I am thankful she barks at strangers and sounds WAY meaner than I think she would really be!

I am thankful for these 2 people, my Mom and Dad. So many reasons I am thankful for them and not enough room to write them all down! Basically, I am thankful they are MY mom and dad and that they love me. I am thankful they are healthy and that they don't mind driving 5+ hours to spend the weekend with us....well, they come to see their cute grandkids!

I am thankful for Rae because without her, there would be no Gregg. I am thankful she is healthy and very close to finishing her goal of running a marathon in each of the 50 states! I am thankful that she still has her mom here (NoNo) and that the kids have one great-grandparent here to love them. I am thankful she loves my kids and that she lives close enough to us to babysit!

G...I am thankful he is my husband and the father of our children. I am thankful he loves me and that he too is healthy and has a job. Without him I would be lost. I am thankful I get to begin each day with him by my side. I thank God each day for allowing me another day to spend as his wife. I am thankful for the choices he has made and am proud to call him my husband.

I am thankful for these 2 little munchkins. I love them more than words can say. I am so thankful they are healthy and smart. I am thankful God chose me to be their mom. I am thankful I get to wake up each morning and eat cereal with my 2 blonde headed boys and that I am the one who gets to tuck them in at night. I am thankful they are mine!

I am thankful for these 2 guys too...the first 2 boys in my life, my brothers, Max and Will. I am thankful they both have jobs and are healthy. I am thankful they are such great Uncles to my kids and that each of them is also a God Father to each of my children. I know I should be able to raise Henry and Ben since I already played mom #2 to raising Max and Will.

I am thankful for this beautiful woman, my sister-in-law Erin! I am thankful that my brother found her and that she is part of our family. I am thankful that she loves my brother and makes him happy. I am thankful she is healthy and makes my brother try new foods. I am thankful she is a fabulous Aunt to Henry and Ben and that she is Benton's God Mother.
Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for YOU, for checking in on my family and watching my kids grow. What are you thankful for?
