Easter Sunday

Easter is my favorite holiday....for many reasons, but mainly because the REAL meaning of Easter, Jesus dying for our sins and then raising from the dead. I also like that it means spring is here and summer is just around the corner! We had a fun Easter Sunday. It started out with Henry and Ben following the jelly bean trail left by the Easter Bunny leading to their baskets and the eggs that we would hide later for our egg hunt. Then we went to church were the Kraner family of 3 met us. We had a nice lunch back at my parents house before packing up (in the rain) and driving home (only 2 hours in the rain). Happy Easter to everyone! And we are very thankful no one in St. Louis died in the tornado that hit on Good Friday. It was very near our house, even closer to Zee-Zee and NoNo, but everyone is fine. Our babysitter's house got a LOT of damage but thankfully Peggy & John were not home and everything seems to be fixable. It will take a while, but thank goodness they are unharmed!
