Surgery

This post has nothing to do with the 2 stars of this blog, but rather about me, their Mom! I had surgery on Friday April 15 to see if I needed to have a section of my colon removed. The surgery went well and Dr. B did indeed remove about 4 inches of my intestines. He feels very confident that this will help greatly in my day to day symptoms. He sent it off to pathology, but is pretty sure that it is Crohn's Disease. I spent 2 nights in the hospital and got to come home on Sunday. I think my 2 little boys were VERY excited to have me home.....so was the BIG Mohrmann boy! I will be heading back to work tomorrow, as I am out of days to use since Ben was in the hospital back in February. I am feeling good, very tired & extremely sore. I am in need of a big, deep, cough, but it hurts so bad to even do a little, teeny, tiny cough! I go back to Dr. B for a follow up visit on Monday the 25th and then I also have to follow up with Dr. K, my GI doctor. Thanks to everyone for prayers and thinking good thoughts. And to everyone who provided DELICIOUS meals for my boys so they didn't have to survive on frozen pizza. I know you made G's life much easier!
