On Thursday August 6, the kids & I flew to Columbus, Ohio and then rented a car and drove 45 minutes to Marion. We were having my grandma's (Mutti) memorial service on the 8th. Both kids did wonderful on the short flight and fell fast asleep on the ride to Marion. Since they were both sound asleep when we arrived in Marion, I drove the short distance to my birthplace Galion. Once we arrived at the hotel, we swam and then my parents arrived. We had dinner at a pizza place before heading back to the hotel for bedtime.
