Marion Day 2 (08.07.09)

Friday was a fun day for Henry & Ben. They spent the morning with Nana (my mom) while I went and ran 9 miles and my Dad got things finalized with my grandma's house and funeral. We met up for lunch at one of my dad's old hang out's - Jer Zee. Henry and Ben enjoyed hotdogs and a milk shake. After naps, Auntie Kris & Uncle Phil arrived from Hudson along with Susan, Billy, and Yael on their way from Canada to home in Dallas. We enjoyed a KFC dinner in the hotel parking lot/grassy area. It was fun to be with everyone and to let Henry & Ben run around. Later that evening Cory, Chris, Jillian, and Mary made it to the hotel. My Dad drove down to Columbus to pick up Will & Gregg who were flying in. Max wasn't arriving until midnight, so he rented a car and drove himself to Marion.

What I did each evening...sat in the hallway outside the hotel room while Ben fell asleep. I would usually read, but this evening I had a beer! What a great cold Canadian beer it was!
