Friday April 23 to Sunday April 25 - Arkansas Trip Run Down
Uncle Max was in town from Seattle for work.
5 hour car ride Friday after work....McDonald's for dinner....rain....rainbows
Saturday: Kara raced in a 5K in the pouring down rain with her friend Susan. Susan finished as 10th overall female and Kara was 18th overall female. (made it in the Sunday NWA paper!)
Gateway Car show in the rain.....very muddy, but the kids LOVED it. Got to see Will & Erin. We all wore rain jackets and carried umbrellas. The kids wore their cowboy boots.
Saturday afternoon.....rain stopped....kind of. Kids played in puddles and rode bikes. Everyone napped. Gregg ran 14 miles. My dad went and bought minnows for the kids to play with. Mom made a yummy dinner and we all ate lots. Uncle Will & Aunt Erin joined us. Ben loves to try on everyones shoes and found a pair of my mom's that went great with his jammies! We played on the front porch....the kids loved playing with their Daddy and Uncles. The kids gave Uncle Max his (late) birthday presents. It's always nice to celebrate your March 13 birthday in April!!
What a fun trip!! Sunday we went to church, came home and had an early lunch and hit the road for the 5+ hour drive home. Good thing our kids like being in the car! (and we don't use the DVD player incase you were wondering.)
