Well it's A LOT better now!! After about 2 weeks it was still hurting when I ran and also when I would bend my knee down, like to tie my shoes, or when any pressure was applied to it. So I went to an orthopedic surgeon to have him check it out. Basically it will take longer to heal that I was hoping. I am getting old was basically what he told me! It's been over 4 weeks since I hurt it and it's MUCH better. I guess giving it time to heal, taking Advil after running, and icing it has helped. Below you will see a picture of what caused my fall. It's part of a left-over metal sign that was cut down. I know I am not the most graceful person and kind of clumsy, but this metal stump shouldn't have been left!
